Now onto today's sketch.
I know I said I'd work on some two page sketches. That's still on my agenda. However, while flipping through a non-scrapbooking magazine recently I ran across an article layout that inspired me. I knew I had to sit down and create this page sketch right then and there. This is for a smaller, single photo that needs a lot of journaling to tell the story. You know you have one of those photos in your stash. Let's see what you do with this!
This is for personal use only. It is not to be used in any online or print publication or contest. If you upload your layout to an online gallery please leave a link to this blog.
Here's my layout - yes, another kitty page. After I created this sketch I knew what subject I wanted to scrap. It's taken me three months and 20 days to do this layout. It took me two days to fine tune my journaling and I cry everytime I read it. I apologize for the not-so-great scan. I always have trouble scanning white background paper.
Heather emailed a photo of a card that was inspired by this sketch. Isn't it fabulous?

I know I told you this over at SBF, but I got all choked up reading that. You did a wonderful job with both the LO and journaling. It is obvious how much you loved him. Big hugs!!
I'm so sorry for the loss of your kitty, and on your birthday too (sorry you had a crappy birthday too). Lovely layout and the journaling helps the healing.
