Fab earrings!

Being an Etsy seller also means being an Etsy buyer. I love to browse Etsy for supplies and other fun stuff. On a recent Saturday I fell in love with a set of four vintage style filigree teardrop stampings, which were newly listed by alyssabethsvintage. I never rarely make impulse buys on Etsy but I had to have them. I intended to make one pair of earrings to sell and one to keep.

They arrived just a few days later and they were gorgeous.

My daughter thought they were gorgeous too. So gorgeous in fact that she took two, attached them to ear wires and wore them for the rest of the day. So much for my intention to sell the second pair!

I procastinated about making mine because I wanted them to be perfect (perfection is the root of procrastination in my case). I finally sat down the other night to watch Journey 2 on DVD with the fam (part of that Accountability thing I'm working on) and created a pair for myself. After assembling and disassembling a few different designs, I settled on these.

What do you think?

You can see more jewelry that I've made at Em's Sparklin' Gems on Etsy. I'm also working on a bracelet tutorial for the near future. Stay tuned!
