Ok, it's definitely not springy, but it does make me smile. My daughter painted this pumpkin way back in October. She kept him in her bedroom all winter until recently, when she decided it was time to get rid of him. I told her to leave it by the backdoor because it makes me smile when I walk in the house.
Ahh, definitely a sign that spring is coming. My daffodils are coming up. I can't wait to see the bright yellow blossoms.

I'm surprised that Em's pumpkin lasted this long, especially inside! We had some out on our porch (where, obviously, they were staying cool/cold) but I had to throw them away in January because they'd finally gone bad....
