New Feature: Sketches

I've added a new feature to my blog - my own sketches! Bare with me while I iron out the kinks of working in Photoshop Elements. I'm somewhat familiar with layers but it's still tedious for me (even though I do this stuff at work everyday it's a slightly different program). My sketches can be found by clicking the My Own Sketches link under the blog header. I'll also post the newest ones right here on the main page.

Sketches will be posted on Fridays. Yeah, today is Monday but I couldn't wait to post the first one! Leave me a comment with a link to your layout. I'd love to see what you do with it!

Here's my take on the sketch. I flipped it to accommodate a photo that's facing right. A little story behind the title - we had to put our cat down on my 49th birthday. It was a very sad day for all of us, but my family tried to give me a nice birthday party anyway. My birthday is in December so I went with wintery looking paper (I know flowers aren't wintery but the colors blend well, what can I say?)
