Kitty Adoption
I'm still not quite ready for this but my kids are. They've been asking for a kitten for quite awhile since Morton died in December. As much as I'd be perfectly content with our one cat Flower, I gave in. I filled out the online adoption application at a local animal shelter this morning. It should take only a few days for them to review it. I told the kids if all goes well, we might bring a new friend home next Saturday. Like I said, I'm still not ready for this. I'm sure once I see the little bundle of fur I'll fall in love. I just don't ever want to forget my little buddy Morton.

Oh it must be so hard. I cannot imagine. But the cat you rescue will be SO lucky, and SO happy!!
